  27. No, you have to change the permission either of Kermit or of the port
  28. and/or lockfile directory, and/or coordinate group and/or user IDs to
  29. allow access to the port & lockfiles with their current permissions, just
  30. like any other UNIX communications program, including tip itself.  This is
  31. spelled out clearly in the installation instructions in the manual and
  32. also in the accompanying file, ckuins.doc.
